So guys, I am here again to share with you what are the reasons to spend your vacation in the Philippines. On my last post, I have discussed the 2 reasons why our country should top the list of your vacation options this coming summer. If you’re not convinced yet, I might as well add 3 of the million reasons why.
Street Foods
Isaw

A popular street food in the Philippines, Isaw is a chicken or pork intestine which is cleaned, grilled and when cooked is immersed into a sweet or sour mixture which makes it a very delicious snack. It is cheap(Chicken P3.00-Pork P8.00) which makes it affordable for ordinary Filipinos and even tourists who wants to try it.
Nowadays, there are other ways of cooking isaw. Aside from the usual barbecued one, others deep fry it and some even add breading and then fry it.
Balot

Also known as balut, this food is a developing duck embryo which is eaten by removing a part of the egg’s shell. After removing a part of the egg’s shell, you can take a sip of balut’s soup and afterwards eat the solid parts: the ‘pula’(yellowish part) and the sisiw(small duck). In my own experience, balut can be eaten at its finest when served hot. It’s most delicious part for me is its soup and the ‘pula’.

One of the greatest asset of the Philippines is its people. From almost 200 countries worldwide, the Filipinos can be considered as one of the most hospitable people in the world. For Filipinos, there is no such thing as uninvited guest, almost all Filipino households are prepared in case a guest visits a house. Visitors are always offered the best food, beverages, and even the best plates, glasses and utensils. If you are in a Filipino fiesta, never hesitate to get your favorite food and get less. Here, the rule is “eat all you can!”
So, that wraps up everything. Hope you enjoyed my article!
